We still use the original 1910 Campbells family recipe for our haggis. This Scottish legacy is important to us as we are family-owned to this day.

How to Cook Items in the Wee Scottish Food Box
Here's how to cook each item for best results:
Mini Scotch Pies
- Preheat oven to 180°C (160°C fan) / Gas Mark 4.
- Place pies on a baking tray and heat for 15-20 minutes until the pastry is golden and the filling is piping hot.
- Serve warm with beans, gravy or traditional mushy peas.
Campbells Black Pudding
- Slice into rounds approx. 1-1.5cm thick.
- Fry in a lightly oiled pan on medium heat for 3-4 minutes per side.
- Alternatively, grill for 4-5 minutes, turning once. Serve crisp on the outside, soft in the middle.
Campbells Haggis
- Boiling method: Wrap the haggis in foil and place in a pan of simmering water. Heat gently for 45 minutes - do not boil vigorously.
- Oven method: Wrap in foil and heat in a preheated oven at 180°C for 45 minutes.
- Microwave: Cut casing, place contents in a covered microwave dish, and heat on medium power for 6-8 minutes, stirring halfway.
Lorne Sausage
- Heat a little oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Fry slices for 4-5 minutes per side until browned and cooked through.
- Serve in a morning roll or alongside a full Scottish breakfast.

Packaging
Your meat order is kept cool in transit because we either use an insulated expanded polystyrene box, or a recyclable tough corrugated cardboard box which is foil lined and insulated with bubble wrap. Both boxes are leak-proof and sturdy.
To keep your delivery cool, it is packed along with specially designed ice packs. Our ice packs are made with a frozen water-based gel, which keeps the meat at the correct temperature for up to 48 hours. When the ice does melt, it stays as a gel, which prevents the delivery becoming wet.
