Suet pudding is a traditional British side dish, frequently served with roast dinner, particularly pork. It has a crisp outer crust and soft inside, making it a great alternative to a Yorkshire pudding.
Suet is the hard, raw fat found around the kidneys and loins of cattle and sheep. Suet can also be used to make dumplings, pie pastry and sweet desserts, and is often fed to birds.
